There will be a lot of grilling happening at The Market Common this Labor Day weekend as it hosts the Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival! There’s a Wing Competition on Friday, September 1st and on Saturday, September 2nd, over 25 teams of pit masters will be serving up their best barbecue during the official Kansas City Barbecue Society BBQ Competition. Not only will there be plenty of barbecue to sample, but you can enjoy a beer garden, live music, a car show and catch a cornhole competition.
Coastal Uncorked Food & Wine Festival
The wine and beer will be flowing freely at this three day festival at Broadway at the Beach! The weekend events include:
Friday, September 1st – Chocolate Under the Moon
Area bartenders will compete in this moonshine mixology challenge as guests enjoy sampling desserts and cocktails.
Saturday, September 2nd – Brew N’ the Beach
If you love craft beer – make sure to attend this event where you can sip on craft beer from all over the country!
Sunday, September 3rd – Grand Wine Tasting Tent
Dance along to live music while you enjoy food tastings and sampling wine from across the US during the finale event of this weekend festival.
Brews, Blues & BBQ
Make sure to leave room for more barbecue and head over to the House of Blues on September 2nd for the 6th Annual Brews, Blues & BBQ. From 5pm to 9pm, Jason Dumm Band will be strumming the blues onstage while you sip and sample over 30 craft beers and try out a variety of barbecue. You can purchase tickets for sampling and beer tasting glasses at the event.
There will be fireworks lighting up the night sky all weekend long in Myrtle Beach to celebrate the holiday weekend. Barefoot Landing will have a spectacular firework display over the water at 9:30 pm on Saturday, September 2nd. Head over to Broadway at the Beach on Sunday, September 3rd at 10 pm for their Firework Extravaganza over Lake Broadway.
