What will you be doing?

Sea Captain’s House has been a favorite of the Grand Strand for over 60 years. We are a high-volume, fast-paced, oceanfront restaurant with an award-winning kitchen that is looking to expand our team!  The Administrative Assistant supports the management team with various duties such as data entry, maintaining and organizing records and expenses, ensuring effective communication between team members and other departments, and other related duties.

Administrative Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the coding, scanning, and filing of invoices
  • Record and total expenses, ensuring paper records match financial reports
  • Submit personnel action forms for terminations, job code changes or additions, or other changes
  • Order needed office supplies and uniform items
  • Various end-of-month tasks including supplies inventory and statement review
  • Submit change orders to the bank per restaurant needs
  • Complete onboarding for new team members, including completing new hire paperwork, assisting with direct deposit enrollment, and submitting background checks for processing
  • Create calendar invitations for restaurant management for special events
  • Create signs & flyers to keep team members informed (ex. policy change notices)
  • Other duties as assigned
