What will you be doing?

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, licensed and experienced Community Association Manager to join our corporate team.  This role is located on-site in Clearwater, Florida.

The person in this position will be responsible of providing leadership and expertise to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the properties including, but not limited to, the quality of service provided and the achievement of stated operational goals.

This position requires a hands-on Community Association Manager who can proactively and professionally manage a Condominium/Resort facility. This position is directly responsible for the efficient daily operations of the Condominium Association, including related amenities within established guidelines. The Community Association Manager must maintain cordial, and professional open lines of communication with all Board Members and all condominium owners, in addition to open and transparent communication with the property’s General Manager, various Department Heads, and Corporate representatives that provide support to the CAM role. ·

The Community Association Manager also serves as liaison between the Condominium Association’s Board of Directors, the General Manager, vendors, owners, and employees charged to the condominium association. Additionally, the individual in this role must possess full knowledge of condominium association rules, regulations, standards, and a clear understanding of Florida Statues.

Corporate Community Association Manager (CAM) responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide leadership and direction to effectively manage professional relationships with property management, property Board of Directors, and all Owners as needed
  • Assist properties in managing owner relationships and maintain a high level of service, including timely and complete resolution of all owner concerns
  • Be the key contact for any Board of Director or condominium association owner-related issues Work with properties to assist with any condominium association management owner issues as they arise
  • Serve as the corporate contact for all association legal firms and legal activities
  • Prepare and oversee the condominium association budget process at each property
  • Review monthly condominium association management income statements, assisting each property in making adjustments as needed
  • Review monthly condominium A/R reports and work with properties to correct delinquent accounts
  • Attend, either in person or via conference call, all Board of Director and annual owners’ meetings
  • Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and other condominium association management correspondence
  • Oversee and review, as needed, the meeting preparation process for all board meetings and annual meetings

What are we looking for?

  • Valid Driver’s License and vehicle to travel between properties
  • Licensed Florida Community Association Manager (required)
  • A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a CAM
  • The position requires the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and involves travel between properties and the corporate office located in Hillsborough and Pinellas counties
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with proven ability to manage budgets, financial planning, revenue management, and capital improvement programs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations are essential
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and systems, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills with an owner/customer-focused approach, is necessary
