Job Summary

The Revenue Analyst will assist the Revenue Management Department in driving and maximizing profit across all properties. The position will provide administrative support for the Revenue Management Department and Managers. The Revenue Analyst will become an expert user of our property management system, DataVision, and Excel and apply these skills to accurately update and maintain rates and restrictions for all channels as requested. The Revenue Analyst will also be responsible for providing daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. The Revenue Analyst must be available Monday – Friday from 8:30 – 5:30.

Responsibilities of the Revenue Analyst include, but are not limited to:

o   Become an expert user of property management system and apply this skill to accurately update and maintain rates and restrictions for all channels, as requested

o   Accurately update and maintain rates and restrictions for all channels, as requested in IQWare

o   Run and provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting as requested/scheduled

o   Load/update rates, restrictions, and inventory in property management system as requested

o   Create discounts and promotions on request

o   Conduct scheduled and ad hoc availability and/or rate shops

o   Ensure pricing is available in property management system for any given 12-18 month period

o   Prepare report packets and notes for Revenue Managers as scheduled and requested

o   Organize and schedule meetings and appointments

o   Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms

o   Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports

o   Handle multiple projects

o   Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

o   Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.

o   Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

o   Take accurate minutes of meetings

o   Reply to email, telephone or face to face inquiries

Education and Formal Training

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Must have at least 1 year of experience in hotels/resorts operations or hotel-related field.
  • College Degree: Hospitality or management related, preferred.
