Catch a Game of Pelicans Baseball!

Come enjoy America’s favorite pastime right here in Myrtle Beach by catching a Pelicans baseball game! The Myrtle Beach Pelicans are a minor league team that is affiliated with the Chicago Cubs. The Pelicans play at Field, located next to Broadway at the Beach, in the heart of Myrtle Beach.

Pelicans games are non-stop fun for all nine innings. Watch as the Pelicans take on their rival teams in the Carolina League including the Frederick Keys, the Salem Red Sox, the Carolina Mudcats, the Winston-Salem Dash and the Lynchburg Hillcats.

Along with the game, there’s music, competitions for fans like races, the Polar Pop Plunge and sumo wrestling, games, Deuce the lovable base-running dog, Splash the mascot, and much more! Stick around after the games for autograph signings and you can even let your little ones run the bases.

Splash is a giant, sunglasses-sporting Pelican who is always ready for a good time. He can be spotted at every home game dancing to music, throwing tee shirts, participating in games and taking lots of pictures. Splash is 16 years old and still the “clown of the ballpark.” The team’s newest mascot is Rally Shark, who comes out to pump up the Pelicans and the crowd during the late innings of games. You can find him at the opposing team’s dugout where he loves to taunt them!

The Pelicans ballpark concessions has all of the ballpark classics you love to eat: pretzels, hot dogs, ice cream, burgers and pizza. They have also recently updated and added new choices for fans. The Ring of Fire Grill serves healthier options like turkey hot dogs or pitas and hummus to snack on. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit has BBQ favorites and chopped brisket. The 3rd Base Grille has chicken and waffle bites, complete with maple syrup for dipping. For drinks, the park has added Beer Garden, Hops Heaven and Silver Coast Winery for even more variety. For those of you who want to stay in your seat, there’s popcorn and cotton candy sold in the stands so you don’t have to miss a minute of the game. Every Thursday is Thirsty Thursday, where the park sells $1.00 12oz. Bud and Bud Light draughts and $2.00 16oz. cans from 6-8pm.
