Here is a rundown of February events in Myrtle Beach.
February 6th – Ripley’s Aquarium Father/Daughter Dance: This is an excellent way to explore Ripley’s Aquarium and also enjoy time with your little girl. Whether you are a father, stepfather, uncle or grandfather, everyone is invited to the dance. It is going to be a night that she’ll never forget with plenty of dancing, desserts, and refreshments. Plus, each group will go home with a picture to remember their big night. The event is semi-formal, and reservations are required. The price is $39.99 per couple and $12.99 for additional daughters. This is an all ages event from 6:30-8:30 pm.
February 9th – 5th Annual Marshi Gras Celebration: It’s time to party and celebrate Mardi Gras along the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk! The celebration kicks off at 5 pm and has plenty of entertainment for the evening. Guests are recommended to dress up Mardi-Gras style for a chance to win over $1,000 in cash prizes. You can also see a parade from Wicked Tuna through the rest of the restaurants along the MarshWalk. Be sure to stick around afterward for a Louisiana-styled dinner and drink specials. All of the restaurants will have live entertainment and Mardi Gras swag available.
February 20th – Shuckin’ on the Strand Oyster Roast: Calling all oyster fans, we’ve got a special treat for you! The Grand Strand Scene Club will be hosting an 8th annual Shuckin’ on the Strand Oyster Roast. The event will have fresh oysters and live music by Paul Grimshaw. Tickets for the event are $30/person and includes all-you-can-eat oysters from Harrelson’s Seafood, chicken bog and two draft beers. Children who are 8 and under can get a ticket for $10. This is a limited event so be sure to reserve your tickets today!
February 27th – Taste of the MarshWalk: The Murrells Inlet MarshWalk is the place to get all of the freshest seafood in the area. If you are a seafood lover, then you don’t want to miss this special event. Guests will have the opportunity to try different items from all of the restaurants along the water. You can expect other food items like ribs, pasta, sushi and pizza. Each small dish is priced at $5 or less. There will also be local arts and crafts vendors and kids activities during the weekend. Plus live entertainment and a petting zoo. You can check out the Taste of the MarshWalk from 11am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
