February 3-28: Winter Teas
Location: Brookgreen Gardens
Warm up as you sip away the winter blues every Saturday and Sunday during the month of February at Brookgreen Gardens. Enjoy a relaxing cup of hot tea along with decadent treats at the Pavillion Restaurant. After you’ve had your tea time, make sure to meander through the beautiful sculpture gardens.

February 13: Chocolate and Champagne for the Creatures
Location: 4024 US-17 Business, Murrells Inlet, SC
Kick off your Valentine’s Day celebrations early with chocolate and champagne! The 10th Annual Chocolate and Champagne for the Creatures is combining your love of animals, champagne, and chocolate as they come together to support SC-Cares. Enjoy a night of hors d’oeuvres, chocolate candies from Sweeties in Georgetown, and desserts from Pawleys Island Bakery with your significant other or a group of friends. Top off your evening with both a chocolate and champagne fountain!

February 13: Marshi Gras
Location: Murrells Inlet Marshwalk
You can find a little bit of Louisiana charm in the Inlet during the annual MarshiGras! On the Marshwalk! There will be a colorful parade led by the King and Queen and over $1,000 in both cash and prizes will be given away to the best four costumes. Each of the eight restaurants along the MarshWalk will be handing out party favors and featuring food and drink specials as well as authentic New Orleans cuisine. Get ready for a fun evening filled with masks, beads and fun!

February 14: Complimentary Valentine’s Day Carriage Rides
Location: The Market Common
Take a romantic ride around the beautiful Market Common area with your loved one from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re taking a break from shopping or starting off your evening with a joy ride, you’ll enjoy spending some quality time with your sweetheart during a classic carriage ride!

February 17: Valentine’s Bonfire
Location: La Belle Amie Vineyard
Sparks will fly while you cozy up by the fire and sip wine with your loved one during a visit to La Belle Amie Vineyard. Admission is $5 and with the donation of 2 canned/dry food items, you will receive a $3 discount.

February 18: Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild Live
Location: The Carolina Opry
One of America’s favorite zookeepers, Jack Hanna, will be hosting a “wild” show at the Carolina Opry on the evening of February 18th. He will be sharing stories and footage shown of his crazy adventures around the world and of course will have some guest appearances from an array of fascinating animals. This will be a memorable show experience you and the family don’t want to miss!

February 24: Winter Parrot Head Fest
Location: La Belle Amie Vineyard
Grab your Hawaiian shirts and head over to La Belle Amie Vineyards as the sounds of Jimmy Buffet will fill the air as you sip wine and mingle with friends during the annual Winter Parrot Head Fest. Admission is $5 and with the donation of 2 canned/dry food items, you will receive a $3 discount.

February 24: Annual KidzTime Festival
Location: Broadway at the Beach
Head over to Broadway at the Beach from 11 am to 4 pm for an afternoon filled with games, giveaways, live entertainment, character appearances, balloon artists, face painting and more!

February 25: Annual Surfrider Oyster Roast & Bloody Mary Contest
Location: Murrells Inlet
From 11 am to 6 pm, head down to On the Half Shell in Murrells Inlet for the 5th Annual Surfrider Oyster Roast & Bloody Mary Contest. The afternoon will consist of live local music, All-You-Can-Eat Oysters, craft beer from New South Brewery, Food Trucks, local vendors, and area restaurants participating in the Bloody Mary competition. Come enjoy an day full of sipping some of the best Bloody Mary’s while you fill up on fresh oysters!
