It’s that time of year again in Myrtle Beach. The start of another fun-filled festival season! Whether you’re into live music, wine, food trucks, funnel cakes, pig racing, or seafood – you’re sure to find a festival this spring that you’ll want to check out while you’re vacationing with Brittain Resorts & Hotels. Here’s a list of upcoming festival and events taking place along the Grand Strand this April through June:

Myrtle Beach Jeep Jam
Date: April 5th – April 7th
Location: Myrtle Beach Square Mall
Calling all Jeep enthusiasts! Myrtle Beach will be hosting a three-day festival this April featuring a huge Jeep obstacle course, car show, tons of live music, raffles, over 75 vendors, food trucks, raffles and more. The best part – besides all the excitement of the obstacle course and car show – the event supports Special Operations Wounded Warriors and proceeds of the registration are donated to this amazing cause. Come on out and have some fun for a good cause!

1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival
Date: April 13th
Location: The Market Common
The Inaugural 1000 Lights Water Lantern Festival will be taking place on and around the lake at Market Common from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. You’ll gather around the twinkling glow of the lanterns while enjoying High Stakes Bingo, live entertainment, kids activities, and food vendors. And don’t miss the Lantern Launch at 8:30pm!

Horry County Fair
Date: April 19th – 28th
Location: Myrtle Beach Speedway
Get ready for 10 days of fair food, thrill rides, competitive games, exciting prizes, and more! The Horry County Fair will be back for its 4th year at the Myrtle Beach Speedway. You’ll find a petting zoo, pig races, character meet & greets, live performances, a free NASCAR race, and tons of entertainment for the entire family. April Music Fest at La Belle Amie Vineyard
Date: April 20th
Location: La Belle Amie Vineyard
It’s time to celebrate the arrival of spring and unwin(e)d on the outdoor patio at La Belle Amie Vineyard. There will be plenty of live music and make sure to bring 2 canned/dry good food items for the local food bank for $2 off your admission. It’s sure to be a relaxing afternoon sipping Twisted Sister wine in the serene atmosphere of this local hidden gem.

Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival
Date: April 26th – 28th
Location: Oceanfront Boardwalk District at the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place
Hope you packed your appetite because the Myrtle Beach Food Truck Festival is returning for its third year to the Oceanfront Boardwalk District of the Pavilion Place. Get ready to chow down on some of the tastiest fare from restaurants all along the Grand Strand – all gathered in one place! You’ll find everything from BBQ, seafood, pizza, mac & cheese, bratwurst, sandwiches. There will even be frozen treats for all ages, including booze pops – alcohol-infused ice pops from a Charleston-based ice cream truck! Come hungry for this afternoon filled with food, craft beer, live music and fun!

11th Annual Ground Zero Dragon Boat Festival
Date: April 27th
Location: The Market Common
It’s time once again to race for a good cause! This annual fundraiser has teams of 20 paddlers and one drummer competing in a race for the fastest time. The Dragon Boat Festival is free for spectators, who can enjoy the race itself, music from a live DJ, food and drink vendors, live entertainment, a family fun zone.

Earth Day Family Festival
Date: April 27th
Location: Brookgreen Gardens
From 10am to 4pm, head to Brookgreen Gardens to celebrate the beauty of the Earth at one of the Southeast’s most stunning sculpture and botanical gardens. Brookgreen Gardens will be featuring Live Music, Animal Ambassadors, Earth Day Read-alouds, Guided Zoo Tours, Scavenger Hunts, Outdoor Games, Conservation Activities, Upcycled Garden Art, and more. They will be sharing plenty of Eco-friendly Tips and ways to make a positive global impact. This is a family-friendly event that all ages can appreciate and benefit from!

Art in the Park
Date: April 27th & 28th; June 29th & 30th
Location: Valor Park; Chapin Park
Stop by Valor Park at the Market Common on April 27th and 28th and Chapin Park on June 29th and 30th for a weekend full of spectacular art. The Grand Strand’s premier outdoor art show and sale, Art in the Park, is the oldest art guild in the Myrtle Beach area. It hosts artists from all over the country featuring a variety of mediums including acrylic, oil, wood, photography, jewelry, and more. Whether you’re an art enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing afternoon activity, you’ll gain a whole new appreciation for art at this event!

MayFest on Main Festival
Date: May 11th
Location: Main Street, North Myrtle Beach
Make plans to check out the 14th Annual Mayfest on Main Festival from 10am to 6pm on Main Street in North Myrtle Beach! Admission is free and is a celebration of the start of summertime. There will be over 100 craft vendors, food vendors, and a community stage featuring tons of live music and performances. Grab a beach chair and get ready to kick off the summer with a fun filled day!

38th Annual World Famous Blue Crab Festival
Date: May 18th – 19th
Location: Little River
Nestled along the waterfront in Little River, the 38th Annual World Famous Blue Crab Festival is one of the largest in the Southeast. It features plenty of fresh, local seafood as well as award-winning cuisine from local restaurants up and down the Grand Strand. You’ll find craft vendors, plenty of live beach music, a kid zone, and scenic views of the Intracoastal Waterway. This festival has been awarded Best Annual Event/Festival on the Grand Strand 8+ executive years by readers of the Sun News and draws in thousands of tourists and locals alike. Make sure to pack your appetite!

63rd Annual Sun Fun Festival
Date: May 31st – June 2nd
Location: Plyler Park
The Sun Fun Festival started all the way back in 1951 as a way for the seaside community to celebrate the beginning of tourist season. This exciting festival is still celebrated today and includes the infamous Sun Fun Parade, live music featuring Swingin’ Medallions & too MUCH SyLviA, tons of free games and activities for all ages. Make sure to look for the sky for breathtaking performances from the U.S. Army Parachute Team’s Golden Knights during the day and spectacular firework displays over the ocean at night.

Carolina Country Music Fest
Date: June 6th – 9th
Location: Oceanfront Boardwalk District at the Burroughs and Chapin Pavilion Place
The East Coast’s largest 3-day outdoor country music festival takes place right on the shores of Myrtle Beach. This festival has drawn huge headliners like Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and many more. The 2019 lineup includes Thomas Rhett, Florida Georgia Line, Alabama, Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, and many more of today’s hottest country artists.
