Expansion marked 2022 at Brittain Resorts & Hotels, and 2023 is echoing the theme. Alongside managing four additional resorts and two additional vacation rental properties in 2022, construction began for another location of our favorite coffeehouse franchise. On February 24, 2023, the newest Starbucks that will be managed by BRH opened its doors. Our company is ever-growing, extending to new areas of the Southeast and spreading throughout the Grand Strand. We are thrilled to announce our first portfolio expansion of many to come this year!
Broadway at the Beach is a vibrant destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Myrtle Beach. The new Starbucks is in the Key West Village between The Hangout restaurant and the carousel behind the Hampton Inn. It boasts bamboo-style decor inspired by the tropical atmosphere in Key West, Florida, and has indoor and outdoor seating available. Opening well before the rest of Broadway at the Beach, our Starbucks team is present and ready to craft the perfect cup of coffee at 7 am so visitors can have a positive start to each day. Customers can also place online orders through the Starbucks mobile app to skip the lines and enjoy their drinks on the go. The store will close for the night according to Broadway at the Beach’s seasonal hours, which can be found on their website.
We are highly experienced in food and beverage management with over 40 restaurants, bars, and cafes, including the beloved Sea Captain’s House and prohibition-inspired Strong Waters Craft Cocktails and Kitchen. The Broadway at the Beach location is one of seven Starbucks’ managed by Brittain Resorts & Hotels and owned by MB National, with our other stores located in Bay View Resort, Breakers Resort, Caribbean Resort, Compass Cove Resort, Grande Cayman Resort, and OceanView (located across from The FunPlex.)
Myrtle Beach locals might recognize some of our Broadway at the Beach team members who began training at Bay View Resort while construction was still underway. We appreciate Bay View hosting our newest team members, and we are proud to have dedicated employees who consistently demonstrate the benefits of hard work. In 2022, the Starbucks team at Caribbean Resort was the top location out of over 200 stores in the region. Troy Smith is the manager at our Broadway at the Beach location leading the store to success by creating a warm environment, promoting authenticity, and encouraging team members to put forth their best efforts.
