Search for Easter Eggs and the Easter Bunny in Myrtle Beach

With the weather warming up and spring is in the air here in Myrtle Beach, it means Easter is right around the corner. There are plenty of activities happening along the Grand Strand to celebrate the holiday.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny
At The Market Common, although they won’t be serving up carrot cake pancakes, you and your children can enjoy breakfast with the Easter Bunny himself! On April 8th you can dine with him at Tupelo Honey Café at 9 am and on April 15th you can meet and eat with him at Gordon Biersch at 9am. Both restaurants are charging $10 and kids ages 3 and under are free. This cost includes coffee, soft drinks, juice or milk. Come out for an opportunity to meet and hang out with the Easter Bunny.

Easter Egg Hunts
Grab your Easter baskets and get ready to scavenge for hidden eggs. There are multiple Easter egg hunts happening around the Grand Strand throughout the month of April.

At 10 am on April 15th, McLean Park in North Myrtle Beach is holding their 34th annual Easter Egg Hunt in the park. The children will be split into groups depending on age – from infants on up. The North Strand Optimist Club will be in attendance handing out refreshments to the kids, as well as hosting other fun activities during the event. There will be eggs stuffed with candy hidden all throughout the park. The Easter Bunny will also be at the park welcoming everyone and handing out candy, so be sure to wear your Easter attire and take a picture with Ms. Blossom.

Thompson Farms is hosting their 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch with the Easter Bunny at 10 am on April 8th. Their delicious brunch includes baked ham, bacon, grits, cheddar biscuits, fresh fruit and more. During brunch your kids can enjoy hanging out with not only the Easter Bunny, but also their other favorite cartoon characters including Mickey, Minnie, Spongebob and Olaf! Following brunch, there will be a giant Easter Egg Hunt at 12 pm. There will be more than 10,000 eggs filled with candy and prizes hidden around the farm. There will even be one Golden Egg hidden that is contains an extra special prize! The children will be divided into groups for this massive egg hunt. Not only will you enjoy brunch and searching for eggs, but your kids can hang out in Pappy’s Play Area, take a hay wagon ride and participate in animal feedings

On April 14th from 9 am to 5 pm, The Children’s Museum of South Carolina is throwing a Easter Eggstravaganza! Take picture of your kids with the Easter Bunny before they enjoy searching for eggs that will be hidden all over the museum. There will be special treats as well as art and science activities to participate in throughout the day.

If you’re staying at the Caribbean Resort, they will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for their guests on the lawn at Sea Captain’s House. After hunting for eggs, enjoy a delicious lunch on the outdoor patio with gorgeous views of the Atlantic Ocean!
