If you’re visiting Myrtle Beach during the month of Halloween, watch your back because there are plenty of frightful festivities and spooky events to check out while you’re in town.
Nightmare Haunted House
This ghoulish attraction in downtown Myrtle Beach has been horrifying tourists and locals since the mid 80’s. Head to Nightmare Haunted House for Zombie Zone Undead Adventure and you’ll find yourself in and out of total darkness as you’re being tracked down by the terrifying zombies. Hurry – they’re faster than they look!
Boardwalk Fright Nights
When dusk rolls in every Friday and Saturday during the month of October, zombies begin to roam the streets on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Watch your back as you check out the haunted attractions, and surrounding stores and restaurants. You can even take photos with the zombies…if you dare!
Ripley’s Haunted Adventure
Head to Ocean Boulevard for a spine-chilling experience as put your skills to the test! Make sure you aim is precise as you battle flesh eating monsters with laser guns at Ripley’s Haunted Live Action Adventure – LASER STRIKE!
Dress up your kids in their costumes and head over to Barefoot Landing on October 28th for BooFest! This event will be full of kid-friendly activities, costume contests, prizes and more. And you can even dress up the pets because there will be a costume contest just for them!
Halloween Bash on The Avenue
Dress up in your scariest or most creative costume and check out Broadway at the Beach’s Halloween Bash on Saturday, October 28th. Live music with DJ Rich begins at 7 pm and there will be a costume contest with huge cash prizes for first, second and third place. After the contest, wander around the clubs and bars along The Avenue for frightfully festive time all night long! Pluss if you’re in costume, there’s free admission to all the clubs.
Trick or Treat on Halloween
Tuesday, October 31
Dress your kids in their costumes and take them to Barefoot Landing on Tuesday, October 31st to trick or treat. Stores will be passing out candy and other goodies from 5 pm to 7 pm!
Broadway at the Beach
On October 31st, bring your costume-clad kids to Broadway at the Beach and they can go trick-or-treating at their favorite stores! After loading up on candy and prizes from 4:30 pm to 6 pm, head over to Lake Broadway at 8 pm to watch a spooktacular firework show!
Halloween at the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk
The Halloween festivities begin with trick-or-treating for the kids at 5 pm followed by the Annual Children’s Costume Contest. There will be prizes awarded for the funniest, scariest and most creative costumes. Later on in the evening as the moon rises, the MarshWalk becomes a frightful place as all sorts of costumes wander the MarshWalk. Make sure to dress up because there will be an adult costume contest with cash prizes. This is sure to be a night full of tricks and treats!
