The Best Places to Shop in Myrtle Beach

Who’s up for a little shopping? There are plenty of places along the Grand Strand to find some of your favorite shops plus unique boutiques too. Shopping is perfect for those rainy days or to spend the evening after a day at the beach. Here are the best places to shop in Myrtle Beach.

Coastal Grand Mall

The Coastal Grand Mall is the largest indoor mall in South Carolina. It’s a great place to shop, grab a bite to eat, or take in a movie. The mall is off of Highway 501 and Highway 17 Bypass. There are plenty of popular department stores to choose from including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Belk, JcPenney, Sears and Dillard’s. You will notice clothing stores like Abercrombie, Hollister, Charlotte Russe, PacSun, American Eagle Outfitters, Express, H&M, The Children’s Place and many more while walking through the mall. In addition to the stores, there are areas to get your teeth whitened, jewelry cleaned, and a back or foot massage. Take a break at one of the many food areas including Chic-fil-A, Starbucks, Sbarro and more. The mall is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. Mall hours will change depending upon the season.

Broadway at the Beach

Broadway at the Beach is one of the most popular attractions in Myrtle Beach. While vacationing many visitors will make it a priority to stop at Broadway. The area features everything from the latest fashion wear, home accessories, specialty foods and souvenir gifts. With the amount of boutique shops and the variety of unique finds, there is something for everyone. If you’re looking for new accessories, the top shops include Claire’s, Sunglass Hut, and Fossil. Get your beach gear and souvenirs at Ron Jon’s Surf Shop and Tiki Jim’s. The stores are filled with tee shirts, bathing suits, sunglasses, flip-flops and more. If you are shopping with a little one, then we recommend stopping at Build-A-Bear Workshop where they can design and dress their own special bear. Stop in at Sugar, where you can find every sweet treat imaginable. After you have finished shopping, there are plenty of areas to grab a bite to eat or catch a movie. Broadway at the Beach is open from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. during the season with varying hours in the off-season.

Tanger Outlets

Enjoy the beautiful outdoors and shopping all in one place when you make a trip to Tanger Outlets. There are two Tanger Outlet locations including one in North Myrtle Beach and one off of Highway 501. Each outlet is the place to shop for factory store pricing on the latest trends and fashions. If you are shopping with a teen, they will love finding the best looks at places like Claire’s, Hot Topic, Rue 21, Guess and American Eagle Outfitters. Ladies that are looking for some new finds can check out Ann Taylor, Dressbarn, Kate Spade and New York and Company. Harry and David is a great store to find some unique items for the kitchen and your home. Other stores include Kay Jewelers, Kitchen Collection, Yankee Candle and Perfumania. Once you’ve had enough shopping, visit the local restaurants in the area. Grab a delicious burger at Five Guys or Steak and Shake. If you’re looking for a larger meal check out Ruby Tuesday or Outback Steakhouse. The outlets are open from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. and extended hours during the holiday season. It’s a wonderful shopping area for the entire family with the variety of stores.
