If you stay at Dayton House Resort or The Strand, you’ll receive a complimentary deluxe hot breakfast with your stay. Otherwise grab a bite to eat at any of the Brittain Resorts onsite restaurants or your favorite cup of coffee at one of the onsite Starbucks.
While there’s always the option to lounge by the pool or splash around in the surf, there are plenty of other activities to fill your day. For the thrill seekers in the group there’s parasailing, wake-boarding at Shark Wake Park, jet-skiing, rides at Family Kingdom or Broadway at the Beach and the infamous sling shot on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. If you love the water, try taking a surf lesson, kayak to a private island and go shelling, take a deep sea charter or go dolphin watching.
Love to shop? Check out the specialty boutiques at The Market Common or Barefoot Landing. There are plenty of delicious spots to grab lunch while you browse. At The Market Common there’s Tupelo Honey, Nacho Hippo or CO Sushi. If you’re at Barefoot Landing grab a bite to eat waterfront at Greg Norman’s, LuLu’s of North Myrtle Beach or Taco Mundo.
As day turns to night, take flight on the Myrtle Beach SkyWheel and catch a breathtaking sunset. After a full day of exploring you’re sure to have built up an appetite. There are tons of dinner options from pizza joints and all you can eat seafood buffets to local spots. Once you’re done, check out Tin Roof for some live music!
Whether you like to wake up easy on Sundays or spring right into Sunday Funday, start off of a tasty note with brunch at Strong Waters Bar. They have plenty of sweet and savory options, as well as Bloody Mary’s, Bottomless Mimosas, and spiked coffees.
Fulfill your need for speed at Broadway Grand Prix or unleash your creative side at WonderWorks. There’s plenty to see and do at Broadway at the Beach if you choose to spend your day there.
For all you golfers in the group, as you know Myrtle Beach is known as the Golf Capital of the World and boasts over 100 courses to play. Spend the morning on an award-winning course and head over to Topgolf have fun working on your short game at this high-energy driving range.
Spring means the flowers are in full bloom, so it’s the perfect time of year to wander through the sculpture gardens at Brookgreen Gardens. And while you’re down on the south end, check out the beautiful Atalaya Castle at Huntington Beach State or explore around Myrtle Beach State Park before grabbing lunch along the marsh at the infamous Murrells Inlet Marshwalk.
