What will you be doing?

Sea Captain’s House has been a favorite of the Grand Strand for over 60 years.  We are a high-volume, fast-paced, award-winning, oceanfront restaurant that is looking for motivated and friendly individuals to join our team as Hosts/Hostesses!  As a Host/Hostess, you will help create an enjoyable dining experience for our guests by providing excellent customer service, welcoming and seating guests, monitoring and managing reservations and wait times, and other related duties.

Host/Hostess responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Greet guests politely and enthusiastically as they enter the restaurant
• Courteously and consciously guide guests to their assigned tables
• Monitor guest waiting lists and estimate guest wait times
• Record and monitor reservations
• Politely answer the telephone and respond to guest questions
• Be willing to assist other team members
• Take and assemble any To-Go orders, both on the telephone and in person
• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant lobby, as well as the restrooms and other assigned areas
  
• Other duties as assigned
