What will you be doing?

The Banquet Supervisor oversees banquet staff and operations during events, ensuring impeccable service and guest satisfaction. With a keen eye for detail and strong leadership skills, they coordinate with staff, serve banquet guests, set-up/clean-up events, and uphold our quality standards to create memorable experiences for guests. This is a part-time position, working a few times each month when banquets are scheduled.

Banquet Supervisor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee and assist with the setup, execution, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and according to plan
  • Supervise banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and support staff, to ensure they adhere to company standards and provide exceptional service
  • Direct banquet staff during events, assigning duties, and providing guidance to ensure efficient and professional service
  • Address any issues or concerns that arise during events, making quick decisions to resolve them and maintain guest satisfaction
  • Conduct pre-event briefings to communicate event details, expectations, and any special requirements to the team
  • Provide ongoing support and direction to staff throughout events, addressing any performance issues or training needs as necessary
  • Interact with guests during events, ensuring their needs are met and any requests are handled promptly and professionally
  • Keep management informed of event progress and challenges, providing regular updates as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Prior experience serving/bartending
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively via
  • email and phone with proper etiquette
