What will you be doing?

Certified HVAC Technicians are responsible for performing installation, repair, preventative, and emergency maintenance services on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout the resort. They play a crucial role in maintaining a comfortable and safe environment for both our guests and team members. HVAC duties cover both the interior and exterior of the resort, including guest rooms, public areas, and recreational facilities.  This position would also perform general maintenance duties for the resort such as plumbing, repair, painting, carpentry, etc…

Certified HVAC Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspects all HVAC systems and components of the resort to ensure they are operating properly, efficiently, and safely.
  • Promptly responds to front desk reports of guest problems or concerns related to HVAC, informing the front desk when action is complete.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, or makes recommendations for repairs on HVAC systems, ensuring all work meets resort standards.
  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses HVAC system issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Installs new HVAC systems and components as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintains all HVAC equipment and tools in a clean, safe, and secure manner, reporting to the Chief Engineer any corrective actions that need to be taken.
  • Performs preventative maintenance, repairs, or makes recommendations for repairs, as assigned: all mechanical/electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing systems, all building components and furniture, fixtures and equipment.
  • Performs painting, carpentry, plumbing, emergency carpet cleaning and other jobs as necessary.
  • Keeps the Chief Engineer promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so that prompt corrective action can be taken.
  • Perform all job duties with a minimum of disruption to the guest.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Prior experience as a Certified HVAC Technician
  • Must hold a valid HVAC certification
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
  • Able to work in both heat and cold
