Every internship offered can be customized to fit the requirements of each candidate’s program. All internships offered by Brittain Resorts & Hotels are compensated, so interns can earn while they learn and enjoy all of the perks of a summer on the shore. Candidates who have completed internships will be considered for permanent positions and advancement opportunities within the Company.

 What you will be doing:

Heart of the House interns will have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day operations of one of our resort’s most crucial departments: Housekeeping. Throughout their internship, associates will acquire invaluable experience by rotating through various positions, including room attendant and houseperson.  Heart of the House associates will play a pivotal role in delivering Service Excellence and Stewardship, ensuring each guest enjoys a memorable experience during their stay. They will learn from our management team and gain a comprehensive understanding of the intricate workings of the housekeeping department, discovering everything that contributes to crafting an exceptional guest experience.

• Is housing available?  Housing is not provided for this internship.
• Is this internship paid?  Yes, all of our internships are paid.  Pay rate is dependent upon prior experience, but no experience is require to apply.
• Am I eligible for internship credit with my school?  Internship requirements vary by school, so you will need to check with your institution for details.
• Which resort will I be placed at for my internship?  We have several locations along the Grand Strand interested in accepting interns, so there are multiple options for placement.
• Are the hours full-time or part-time?  Both full-time and part-time options are available.
