What will you be doing?

The Pool Technician Assistant supports the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) in cleaning and maintaining water features, pool areas, and storage facilities, along with other related duties.

Pool Technician Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists the Certified Pool Operator (CPO) with the cleaning and maintenance of water features, pool areas, and storage areas
  • Maintains the cleanliness of pool areas through washing and changing pool filters, cleaning the pool deck, pressure washing, set-up and take-down pool vacuums, and other related duties
  • Sanitizes swim decks and acid-washes pool, decks, gutters, and filters; vacuums pool floors; replaces underwater lights
  • Promptly responds to front desk reports of guest problems or concerns, informs the front desk when action is complete
  • Maintains all storage areas, shops and mechanical areas in an organized, clean, safe, and secure manner
  • Keeps CPO and Chief Engineer promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance so that prompt corrective action can be taken
  • Other duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

  • Prior maintenance experience preferred, not required
  • Willing and able to work early mornings, starting around 5am
  • Weekend availability
  • Must possess adequate vision to distinguish colors and shades of color
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.

  • Able to perform job duties with a minimum of disruption to the guest
